In 2010, the Bendigo Easter Festival is celebrating its 140th birthday. The four days will be filled with activities to honour the festival’s past, present and future.

The party get started on Good Friday with an enormous Easter Egg Hunt which brings a smile to every child's face.
While you're there check out the local entertainment on stage, browse the local market, vist the farm animals and take in the picturesque scenery at Lake Weeroona.
Rosalind Park will be a mass of celebration at the festival's official 140th birthday party. The highlight will be erth's dinosaur petting zoo - it's a petting zoo, but not as you know it! Meet erth's awesome prehistoric creatures, from cute baby dinos to teeth-gnashing giants. This fun, educational and unique performance will delight children of all ages.
There will be loads of party games, fun activites and great entertainment so make sure you come along and wish the Bendigo Easter Festival a very Happy Birthday!

Get your seat early to this much loved event as Chinese performers, lion dancers and thousands of crackers awake Sun Loong before he takes to the streets for The Bendigo Advertiser Easter Parade.
We Built This City is back by popular demand! The young and young at heart will love being able to construct their very own cardboard city in the centre of Bendigo.
Using nothing but thousands of big cardboard boxes and bucket loads of enthusiasm, the giant cardboard city will be built, explored and destroyed.
The Downtown Bendigo Torchlight Procession is a traditional favourite where you can pay tribute to our Emergency Services Heroes while watching the display of illuminated floats.
Immediately after the procession a magnificent display of fireworks will erupt over Rosalind Park.
The festival's 140th birthday celebrations will finish with a gorgeous display of colour as Sun Loong, the world's longest imperial dragon, makes his 40th appearance in the Gala Parade.
You will take a short journey through the past, present and future of the parade with a wonderful display of floats celebrating where it has been and where it is heading.
Take a short walk up Park Road and enjoy all the thrills of the carnival during Easter. Whether you love the twists and turns of the rides, the challenge of a game-of-skill or you enjoy the atmosphere and carnival treats, it will all be at the Easter carnival.
